Poland’s Ministry of the Interior has imposed a ban on Russian tennis player Vera Zvonareva from entering the country, consequently preventing her participation in WTA 250 tournament in Warsaw. The former World No. 2 arrived in Warsaw from Belgrade with a French visa, but the Border Guard denied her entry. As a result, she was confined to the transit zone at the Warsaw airport before eventually flying to Podgorica, Montenegro on Saturday.
