Rajasthan’s Assembly polls saw peaceful voting, recording over 68% turnout by 6 pm. Top leaders, including CM Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje, expressed confidence in their parties. Key figures among 1,862 candidates included Sachin Pilot and Gulab Chand Kataria. AIMIM and AAP contested. Voting at 51,000 booths began at 7 am. With 200 seats, polling for 199 occurred due to a candidate’s death. Over 52 million voters participated. Strict security measures involved 1.7 lakh personnel.
