NASA Issues Alert as Asteroid Approaches Earth Rapidly

An asteroid is rapidly approaching our planet from the asteroid belt, prompting NASA to issue an alert. According to NASA’s Center for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the asteroid named 2023 QQ is currently moving towards our planet at a speed of about 34,779 kilometers per hour. Today (August 27), it could pass by Earth at a distance of approximately 4 million kilometers, which is quite close in astronomical terms.
