During a violent incident at Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma’s office in Tura, five security personnel were injured as a mob attacked on Monday night, according to police sources. Fortunately, the Chief Minister remained unharmed, though he was briefly trapped inside the office due to the crowd blocking entry/exit routes. The protesters were later dispersed, and the police imposed a night curfew in the area to maintain order and security.
