Law Commission Ends UCC Public Suggestions Deadline

The Law Commission of India has announced that it will not extend the deadline for public suggestions on the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). Interested individuals, institutions, and organizations were asked to submit their comments on the UCC issue until July 28, 2023. The Law Commission had sought responses from the public to gather feedback and opinions on the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code in the country.
