Jake Hughes Sets Guinness World Record for Indoor Speed

McLaren Formula E team’s racer, Jake Hughes, secured his name in the Guinness World Records. He defeated Mahindra Racing’s racer, Lucas di Grassi, inside a building in London, achieving a speed of 218 km/h (135.5 mph). This broke the indoor speed record, surpassing the previous mark of 168 km/h (104 mph) set in February 2021. The thrilling competition between Jake Hughes and Lucas di Grassi took place during the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
