The Indian Navy ship ‘Khanjar’ recently rescued 36 fishermen stranded in the Bay of Bengal. All of them were stuck 130 miles off the Tamil Nadu coast in the sea. The fishermen were riding three fishing boats when they got stranded. Despite the challenging sea conditions lasting for 30 hours, INS Khanjar successfully saved them. Adverse weather conditions, lack of fuel, and mechanical failure in their boats had left them stranded at sea.
