Indian Companies Can Now Trade for 21 Hours in 8 Countries

Indian companies can now directly list on foreign stock exchanges and Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT) International Financial Services Centre. This move allows domestic firms to trade for 21 hours in 8 countries. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced the decision on Friday. She stated that the government has granted final approval for Indian companies to be listed directly on Global In-House Centres (GIFT IFSC). This move aims to facilitate easier and more efficient trading for Indian companies.
