Gopal Kanda Acquitted in Air Hostess Geetika Sharma Suicide Case

In the high-profile air hostess Geetika Sharma suicide case from Haryana, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court acquitted legislator Gopal Kanda on Tuesday. Kanda, a former Haryana Cabinet minister, was the main accused in the case. He had spent 18 months in jail for the same. When asked for his reaction after the verdict, Kanda remained silent and offered no comments. This verdict comes after an 11-year-long legal battle in the controversial case.
