In the 5th Test of the Ashes series, Australian cricket team gained a 12-run lead in the first innings against England. On Friday, during the second day of the match, the Kangaroos were bowled out for 295 runs in their first innings. Steve Smith played a notable inning, scoring 71 runs, while opener Usman Khawaja got dismissed for 47 runs. Captain Pat Cummins contributed 36, and Todd Murphy scored 34 runs in the lower order.
