Amarnath Yatra: 5 Amarnath pilgrims died in 24 hours

This year the Amarnath Yatra started after the death of many passengers. With the death of five more devotees during the last 24 hours, the death toll in this year’s Amarnath Yatra has gone up to 19.The most common cause of death of Amarnath Yatris is low oxygen at high altitude. Officials said on sunday that Most of the pilgrims died due to cardiac arrest and underlying medical conditions.
